Conventional brake lines are manufactured using rubber, but the material has the propensity to bulge as the brake line becomes older. This bulging will gradually decrease the efficiency of your brakes. If you have been using rubber brake lines, you may want to switch to stainless steel alternatives when replacing them. Not only do the stainless steel brake lines look more appealing, but they also are much more durable.
